Day 1

ARRRIVAL IN HANOI

Your arrival flight lands at Noi Bai Airport where your driver and tour guide are ready to pick you up and transfer you to the city centre for hotel check-in. The rest of the day is at leisure after the jetlag. Welcomed Vietnamese diner will be served at a local restaurant in town. Over night in Hanoi.

Day 2

HANOI CITY TOUR (B/L) - With guide

Start your day with breakfast in your hotel. Today, you will spend the whole day to explore the historic Hanoi with visits to Ho Chi Minh complex with Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, Presidential palace, Ho Chi Minh stilt house. Learn the local religious practices at One Pillar pagoda and Temple of Literature, Ethnology museum is also worth visiting, as you will get the overview of Vietnamese ethnic minorities with their colorful dresses and amazing cultures. Followed by one-hour rickshaw ride to see Hanoi daily life in the old quarter and end the day with traditional water puppet show. Dinner on your own. Overnight in Hanoi

Day 3

HANOI – SAPA (B/L) - With guide

You will be picked up at your hotel in Hanoi in the early morning (about 7.30AM) for travelling to Sapa. The drive is mainly on the HW Noi Bai – Lao Cai, this is the longest highway in Vietnam. The scenic drive from the Red River Delta, through the midland to Lao Cai province will be a good start for your sapa trip. Arrive in Sapa by noon. Have lunch at a restaurant in town and check in to the hotel for a short rest and refresh (If the room is available by the time you arrive). The rest of the afternoon is spent for about 6-km trek on both narrow concrete & dirt paths in Muong Hoa Valley (Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai villages). Get picked up at the end and return to the town for the hotel. Overnight in Sapa.

Day 4

SAPA – HANOI (B/L) - With guide

This morning, you will conquer the roof of Vietnam by cable car. Get transferred to the station and enjoy the incredible view of mountains, forest and cloud during the ride. This is the world’s longest 3-rope cable car, stretching 6.3 kilometers. After the summit, get back to the town for lunch before spending the afternoon drive back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi around 7:00 PM. Check back in your Hanoi hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 5

HANOI - HALONG BAY (B/L) - With guide

Today you will be collected from your hotel and taken to the airport in time for your scenic transfer to Halong Bay. Your seaplane flight will take around 40 minutes and is a spectacular way to see the UNESCO site. Upon arrival in Halong you can relax by the marina with a Vietnamese coffee before boarding your junk. This afternoon will be spent cruising through the bay, admiring the limestone Karst scenery and enjoying the luxurious hospitality on-board.

Day 6

HALONG BAY – HUE (B/L) - With guide

A morning on board your boat today. The boat will take you to visit a beautiful limestone cave before moving gently back to port to disembark mid-morning. You will then be collected by your guide and driver for the overland drive to Hanoi airport where you will take a late-afternoon flight to Hue City in the central Vietnam. Upon arrival in Hue you will be greeted by your tour guide and taken to the city center for hotel check-in. Overnight in Hue.

Day 7

HUE (B/L) - With guide

Start your day with a cyclo ride (local rickshaw) through a part of the city of Hue to observe the excitement of Vietnam’s last capital. Get dropped off and walk to visit the UNESCO listed Imperial Citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945. Enter through the towering main gate and you will appreciate the magnificent architecture and gardens while your tour guide explains about the events and the intrigue of the former royal court. Despite being bombed heavily during the Tet Offensive, there are some well-preserved sections still intact and others which are being restored. After visiting the complex of Hue Monuments, you will move on to visit Ming Mang Royal Tomb which is a few minutes to drive from the city. Minh Mang was the second Nguyen Emperor whose interest in architecture brought major new construction to the Imperial City of Hue. His tomb is set in a large garden on the west bank of the Perfume River, with lakes and pavilions built in the old Chinese traditional style. Followed by another stop at Thien Mu pagoda, Hue’s best-preserved religious monument, which stands on the riverbank with its impressive seven-storey tower. Thence, take a boat trip along the romantically named Perfume River for the way back to town. Overnight in Hue

Day 8

HUE – HOI AN

The morning drive to Hoi An via Hai Van Pass will occupies half of your day. Arrive at Hoi An ancient town. Check into your hotel and then go for lunch at a nice restaurant in town Nestled a couple of kilometers inland on Thu Bon river, Hoi An is typified by the 16th century Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese architecture. The afternoon walking tour offers you a chance to see how beautiful the Old Quarter of Hoian is. The sites include the Japanese Covered Bridge; Phuoc Kien Assembly; Tan Ky ancient house; Hoi An Culture and History Museum and Quan Cong temple. Evening is free on your own to chill out at a riverside café or enjoy shopping with tailor-made clothing, shoes and lanterns. Overnight in Hoi An

Day 9

HOI AN (B)

Today is free for you to do your own things in this charming Old Town: You may be just easy at leisure to enjoy your accommodation facilities or go shopping at the center. If you fancy a swim, this is also the time for that. If your hotel in town you can easily reach a nice local beach by bicycle. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 10

HOI AN – SAIGON (HO CHI MINH CITY) (B/L) - With guide

After the breakfast at your hotel, you will head out the water on traditional bucket boats to experience the everyday life of the Vietnamese fisherman. Explore local fishing communities before trying your hand at catching your own. Enjoy a fresh seafood lunch afterward. In the afternoon, you will transfer (Approx. 40 minutes) to Danang Airport for the short flight (VN121 at 16:20) to Ho Chi Minh City in the Southern Vietnam. Get picked up and transferred to the downtown for the hotel check-in. The evening is yours. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City

Day 11

SAIGON & CU CHI TUNNELS (B/L) - With guide

After your breakfast in the hotel, start your day by visiting War Remnants Museum and the former Presidential Palace, from there stroll to the major sights of colonial Ho Chi Minh City: Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Post Office. After lunch, the car will take you out of the bustling city for Cu Chi District, locates approximately 70 km northwest of Saigon. This is a beautiful green land with fruit gardens, rice paddies and plantations. Cu Chi Tunnels are like a spider web in the soil of Cu Chi District. It consists of more than 200km of narrow underground tunnels that connecting half or total covered hideouts, shelters, fighting bunkers, hospital, school, living rooms and so on… All was built and used by Viet Cong for resistance against their enemy during the French and American war. Thence we will drive back to the city in the late afternoon. Overnight in HCMC

Day 12

MEKONG DELTA (B/L) - With guide

This morning head down south to the lush Mekong Delta. The river tour will start at Cai Be Town Pier at 10:00 AM. Cruise to begin with a view of some floating shops, cruising among local barges full of fruits and vegetables. Stop at local home factories to observe the traditional procedure of making rice ice paste, coconut candies and other specialties. Lunch at “Le Longanier”, a superb Indochinese villa located by the river, in a lush tropical garden surrounded with fruit plantations. Proceed to Dong Hoa Hiep Island located between Vinh Long and Cai Be to discover beautiful landscape along the river. Visit to Ancient Mandarin House dating from 1890 with personal welcome by the House Owner. Proceed to Vinh Long, passing beautiful landscapes along Dong Phu canal, Binh Hoa Phuoc and An Binh, the islands that are famous for fruit orchards. Make a stop at An Binh ancient church or Tam Ho’s nursery garden on the way back. Crossing Co Chien River, the excursion ends at Vinh Long Pier 4.00 PM, where your own private transportation vehicle will await for you. Return to Saigon for the night.

Day 13

SAIGON – NHA TRANG (B/L) - With guide

Take a morning flight to Nha Trang, Vietnam’s beach capital. Aside from the golden stretches of land and crystal clear waters, the coast is dotted with many islands, each boasting their own distinct character. The turquoise waters play host to a variety of marine life, and snorkeling and scuba diving are perennial favorites. Upon arrival to Nha Trang, our guide and driver will be waiting to provide transport to the hotel for check in. NHA TRANG BEACH RELAX

FLY TO HANOI FOR DEPARTURE (B)

Take the morning flight back to Hanoi and take your connecting flight for departure at Noi Bai airport later on. End of service and Goodbye Vietnam!
