DETAILED ITINERARY
Get picked up from your hotel in Hanoi at 9h00. The drive to Halong Bay is approximately a 2.5-hour journey. Have a short break at a workshop on the way to learn about how local craftsmen making jewels from oyster pearl which grown in the bay pearl farm.
Around 12h00: Arrival at Tuan Chau marina, check-in and get ready for boarding.
12h15: Getting onboard and start the afternoon discovery of the world heritage. The boat makes its way around the stunning natural wonders of Ha Long Bay with hundreds of gorgeous limestone cliffs jutting from its calm jade waters. The UNESCO World Heritage site offers spectacular scenery for a relaxing excursion.
13h00: Lunch is served on boat while your cruise gently moving amongst the beautiful rock islands.
After lunch, you will have a chance to explore a nice part of the bay by sampan boat row. The boatman will take you through a tunnel-like cave into a tranquil area surrounded by steep limestone walls.
14h45: Visit one of the biggest caves in Halong Bay, its Surprising Cave (or Hang Sung Sot). The walk takes 1hr up and down through the cave. Visiting this cave, you will see many stalactites hanging from the ceiling and many stalagmites rising from the floor of the cave, and understand why it is named “Surprising Cave”.
16h15: Sunset watching for the rest of the afternoon while your boat is heading back to Tuan Chau marina.
17h30: Check out and get picked up again by your private car for the journey back to Hanoi.
Around 20h00: Arrive at your hotel and end of the service.
