Start your day with breakfast in your hotel. Today, you will spend the whole day to explore the historic Hanoi with visits to Ho Chi Minh complex with Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, Presidential palace, Ho Chi Minh stilt house. Learn the local religious practices at One Pillar pagoda and Temple of Literature, Ethnology museum is also worth visiting, as you will get the overview of Vietnamese ethnic minorities with their colorful dresses and amazing cultures. Today you will be collected from your hotel and taken to the airport in time for your scenic transfer to Halong Bay. Your seaplane flight will take around 40 minutes and is a spectacular way to see the UNESCO site. Upon arrival in Halong you can relax by the marina with a Vietnamese coffee before boarding your junk. This afternoon will be spent cruising through the bay, admiring the limestone Karst scenery and enjoying the luxurious hospitality on-board.

A morning on board your boat today. The boat will take you to visit a beautiful limestone cave before moving gently back to port to disembark mid-morning. You will then be collected by your guide and driver for the overland drive to Hanoi airport where you will take a late-afternoon flight to Danang City in the central Vietnam. Upon arrival in Danang you will be greeted by your tour guide and taken to Hoi An for hotel check-in. Relax and enjoy the facilities of your beach resort.

After a leisurely breakfast you will meet your guide for an insightful tour around Hoi An’s old town. Here you can explore the shop-houses, temples and charming Japanese covered bridge. Today will start with a trip to Hoi An’s bustling morning market where a local chef will introduce you to some of the key ingredients needed in order to create many of Vietnam’s most admired dishes. After sourcing the ingredients you will accompany the chef back to the revered Red Bridge Cookery School. The afternoon will be spent cooking and sampling many Vietnamese specialties before returning to your hotel. Relax for the rest of your day or get back to the Old town for some shopping on your own. Drive to Danang Airport this morning for the short flight to Saigon in southern Vietnam. On arrival transfer to Cu Chi historical site. Lunch is served at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, your tour guide will walk you to visit the famous underground tunnel network which was built and used by Cu Chi villagers for resistance against their enemy during the Vietnam War. Here you will learn a little more about the war and the guerrilla tactics of the Viet Cong. Drive to the city, check in and be free to enjoy at your own leisure in the evening.

Depart by car to the “rice basket” of Vietnam – the Mekong Delta from your hotel at 9:00am. Today will be a full day of discovery as we explore the villages, farms, and intricate waterways that form the delta. Start the trip by a drive to My Tho, which on the way is green/yellow rice paddy fields stretching towards the horizon. Upon arrival in My Tho City, embark a boat and visit 4 beautiful islets: Dragon, Unicorn, Tortoise and Phoenix. Stop at a fruits garden and visit a family in the area where you can enjoy seasonal fruits and taste coconut candy (local special product). After this, take a boat to An Khanh village to see fish breeding in floating cages and walk under coconut shade stop at some local houses to see how they pack banana and coconut-leaves cakes. Walk on “Monkey Bridge” to Vuon Dau for lunch. After lunch, take a rowing boat on narrow water palm creek and come back to My Tho boat wharf, meet the driver and drive to Can Tho for overnight.

The watery world of the Mekong Delta is home to many bustling floating markets. This day, you take a boat trip and exploring the vibrant floating market of Cai Rang. Visiting the market, you will be impressed by the trading way as it is unique: each boat usually sells one particular item, whether it be pumpkins, pineapples, sugar canes…
After an impressive boat trip, disembark at Ninh Kieu quay then visit an ancient house in Binh Thuy 10 km from Can Tho city.
After lunch, transferring to the airport for your flight to the Con Dao Archipelago. Upon arrival on Con Dao you will be greeted by a resort representative and taken to your hotel. The next few days will be spent enjoying the stunning location and the resort’s abundant facilities. Overnight in Con Dao.
