WHERE TO GO IN QUY NHON
Crescent Moon Beach
This is the main beach of Quy Nhon with the shape of a rather “unique” and attractive crescent moon with dunes stretching 5km from Mui Tan to Ghenh Rang. Recently, this beach has been “upgraded” in terms of infrastructure and cleaning, so the number of tourists is gradually increasing, making Quy Nhon one of the most popular places in the South Central Coast region.
Ky Co – Eo Gio
Located 25 km to the northeast of Quy Nhon city, Ky Co is an exciting place as it has one side facing the sea, and the other three are hills and mountains. This place is known as “the heaven” of Nhon Ly because the beauty of Ky Co is the rhythmic combination of bright blue sea, pristine golden sand, and majestic mountain ranges. Walking barefoot in Ky Co, you will feel light and comfortable as you are surrounded by trees, mountains, and blue sand and white sea.
All the “nooks and crannies” of Ky Co are beautiful enough to create memorable souvenir photos, even a wooden bridge only for ships to dock can become a favorite check-in place for visitors.
In the east of the Phuong Mai peninsula, the coastal city of Quy Nhon is shielded by an extended range of rocky coastal mountains with several high peaks such as Den Mountain, Hon Mai, Hon Yen, Chop Vung Islet and the farthest place is Eo Gio .
The name “Eo Gio” originates from the geographic shape of this area. When overlooking from the surrounding cliffs, you can see a small strait covered by two mountain ranges. Eo Gio is pristine and owns a coastal walking path no less beautiful than any other coastal roads in other famous landmarks in the world. Therefore, tourism services here are being promoted more than ever. You can find yourself a hotel near Eo Gio to facilitate your excursions.
Hon Kho
Located about 16 km from Quy Nhon, Hon Kho Island has a unique landscape with cliffs protruding into the sea, quiet sandy beaches, lush green lawns, and clear blue water. Hon Kho is one of the few beautiful beaches that still retain the wildness of nature.
Besides, as Hon Kho beach has clear and blue jade-like water, you can easily see coral reefs no less diverse and beautiful than the ones in Cu Lao Cham. So if you love to explore the underwater world, you should rent diving goggles and snorkel in the middle of the deserted sea. Or, if you are afraid of water, climbing is also a completely new experience for you when you come to Hon Kho.
Bai Xep Fishing Village
Listed by Business Insider in Asia’s so-called “secret gems,” this place attracts visitors with the tranquil beauty of a traditional fishing village, without the fuss of traffic or the hustle and bustle like other beach sites. You should visit Bai Xep this time when it has not been too much industrially interfered to enjoy its untouched nature. However, the services of sightseeing, tourism, restaurants, and hotels in Bai Xep are quite sufficient. If you have the opportunity, come and feel a wild beauty here.
Trung Luong picnic area
This is recently the hottest place in Binh Dinh; many people even call it “Jeju of Vietnam.” The newest feature of the Trung Luong picnic area, which has contributed to its steady popularity, is that it owns a camping playground. With undulating tents, colorful chairs, and the view looking towards the sea, the area looks romantic just like “in Korean movies.”
From the picnic area, visitors can follow the paved road to the Trung Luong beach with blue and peaceful water. You will also be attracted by the large stones of strange shapes around you when walking on the stone path.
Besides going to the beach or coral diving, camping in such a romantic space is also an option that everyone wants to try.
The above are just some typical entertainment spots of Quy Nhon. There are still many other attractions waiting for you to discover!
