Spectacular Sapa Package

There is no activity included today. You may start the evening train with us after you ended other tours in Hanoi. In the evening, time depends on train schedule – normally 8.00PM or 9.30PM, you will get picked up from hotel then transfer to Hanoi Train Station for the overnight ride to Lao Cai City. You will be in shared AC soft sleeper cabins (Private cabin is available on request). The train will take around 8 hours to get to Lao Cai city. Sleep well and ready for next day in Sapa

Upon arrival in the border City of Lao Cai in the early morning, you will get picked up then take one hour drive uphill through cloud and spectacular landscape to get to Sapa. Upon arrival, refresh yourself with wash and breakfast is served at a local restaurant. After breakfast, get your luggage stored and take a light trek downhill along Muong Hoa River. This path provides great scenery of nature with mountain, forest and terrace fields that carpet along hill slopes. On the trek, you will see minority people from some hill tribes with their typical appearance and traditional dresses walking, working and playing. It is the chance for interesting local interaction and to fill up your album with beautiful photos. Keep trekking down further to visit minority villages of H’mong and Dzay people. The trek ends at noon and you will get picked up by car and travel back to Sapa. In the afternoon, after a break, you will take a short drive to another side of Sapa town. From here, you will take a walk to visit Ma Tra village of the Black H’mong people that locates in a beautiful valley. Get back to Sapa by car and free at leisure in the evening. After breakfast, checking out your hotel, then take the morning drive to attend a colorful market (Coc Ly on Tuesday/ Can Cau on Saturday/ Bac Ha on Sunday). These markets are organized by and for minority people in this mountainous areas where people come to sell, buy, meet friends and even find their partner. Here, you’ll see the Flower Hmong, the Phu La, the Dao, the Tay, the Nung… Many hill tribe groups gather around. It is an awesome experience of seeing colors, understanding traditions and feeling the atmosphere. The market offers a variety of local products includes colorful embroidery, handicrafts and all types of daily necessary stuffs. Here is also available with animal market where people sell and buy or barter animal such as dogs, pot-bellied pigs, cows, buffalos and so on. After lunch, we will take a short walk to a hill-tribe village. The walk will offer you a beautiful and peaceful scenery with mountains, villages and some types of cultivations. Walking through a village of the ethnic Tay people definitely offers you a good understanding about the daily life as well as their culture and traditions. Followed by a drive to head back to Lao Cai City. Dinner in Lao Cai and then take the overnight train back to Hanoi.
